I’m a registered psychologist with a background that’s a little different from the usual path. I originally completed a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in engineering before moving into psychology. After finishing my studies and internship in Australia, I became a registered psychologist.

I’ve had the privilege of living and working across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. These experiences shaped my worldview and sparked my passion for psychology and psychotherapy. In my work, I primarily draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating other evidence-based approaches when they’re a good fit. I use a transdiagnostic approach—focusing on the common threads that run through different mental health challenges. At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship, which I aim to build on empathy, authenticity, non-judgment, and empowerment.

I’ve worked with people at many stages of life—from school-aged children and adolescents to young adults, middle-aged, and older adults. I support clients with a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety: such as worry, panic, social fears, phobias, obsessive–compulsive behaviours, or post-traumatic stress.

  • Mood difficulties: including sadness, low motivation, hopelessness, lack of pleasure, low self-esteem, or mood swings.

  • Substance use challenges: when substance use feels out of control and is getting in the way of life.

  • Interpersonal difficulties: like conflict, boundary issues, stress, emotional distance, or trust challenges in families, friendships, romantic relationships, or workplaces.

  • Behaviour management: for conditions such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism.

Outside of my work, I’m married and a father of two young children. In my spare time, I enjoy poetry and literature, which keep me connected to creativity and reflection.
